The Imaging Systems Lab

Production is ramping up and one of the hottest areas here in our college is in our very own Imaging Lab.  Our lab, called “The Imaging Systems Lab” is an area that many students long to work in, and one advantage to being a student here in SPAS, is you can be hired to work directly in our facilities, in just such a place as the lab.

Here you can learn how to do color film processing, wide format printing, both ink jet and chromogenic (Lambda), laser printing for quick jobs, book binding for a portfolio presentation, canvas printing and stretching, even cold mounting of display prints.  Our whole operation is set up so you learn production based lab procedures from the moment a customer walks in the front door, to the final selling out a job once completed.  In fact, many of our alums have gone onto working in such labs as Dugal in NYC, or service bureaus around the country.
