Her talk, “Framing Through The Body: Smart Phones, GoPros and the Embodied Frame” will examine the link that can be created between the process of framing through the body and filming through the smartphone as an extension of the body influence on the process and resulting in a sort of embodied frame. She will also reference how an embodied frame is perceived in contrast to the non – embodied frame and whether cameras such as the GoPro® and or other mobile media can be used to achieve the same result.
