RIT alum Chris Ehrmann  AKA “Goldteeth” returned to the RIT campus Monday May 1.  Ehrnamm is the Managing Director & Executive Producer of www.goldteethandco.com a NYC based photo agency that represents an outstanding stable of photographers, directors and stylists. Chris reviewed student portfolios of students in Clay Patrick McBride’s senior class. These fourth year advertising photography students will soon take the next big step of their lives stepping into the very competitive industry and environment of the advertising photographer. Ehrmann met with more than a dozen students individually and shared comments about their work and collateral materials.  Ehrmann commented,  “It was great to be back in Brick City. There’s definitely some exciting work coming out of RIT this year.”

Face-to-face, students were given valuable insights and suggestions about their work and future opportunities. In an effort to heighten the experience, McBride video tapped each interview session, so students could – at another time – review what was shared and gain a better understanding of their level of professionalism and readiness. McBride said,  “Students entered the room that was similar to the show Shark Tank. There were video cameras and a dramatic overhead light. McBride reminded the students that you only get one chance to make a first impression and he wanted to create an element of tension and gravitas to the meeting.
