What Happens During Intersession, Part 2

The very first intersession at RIT seemed relatively quiet in Rochester. Very few members of the photography faculty were in the halls of the School because many of them participated in exciting international activities. We hope this will be a trend for future intersessions. Students and alumni alike had unique opportunities during this 3 weeks prior to the start of the spring semester. There were five trips in total, Part 2 focuses on the trip to Cuba.

Professors Denis Defibaugh and Dawn Tower Dubois traveled to Cuba with 23 alumni. This was the first alumni trip of its kind and participants had the unique opportunity to participate in an immersive educational experience while traveling and photographing in Cuba. Through the use of photography and related field trips, participants were exposed to this unique culture and environment.  Below are a few snapshots from the trip.
