Congrats to the #RITphoto community including students, alumni, faculty and staff! Because of the vitality and diversity of  our rich educational environment, #ritphoto was recently recognized for a couple of important honors.

  • The MFA program in Imaging Arts received a #4 ranking in the category of Best Graduate Schools for Photography from the newly released US News & World Report’s 2017 Edition. This top five ranking represents two steps up for the MFA program, previously ranked #6. Best Graduate School rankings are based solely on a peer assessment survey of 229 Master of Fine Arts programs in art and design in the United States.Rankings
  • Photo District News’ PDNEDU showcased #RITphoto’s advertising program in its most recent edition. The program was one of three educational programs featured with a concentration in commercial photography. The article highlighted the advertising program’s innovative curriculum, internship opportunities, faculty and alumni, and included an interview with program chair, Susan Lakin.
